Trauma Recovery Fundamentals CPD

A Two Day (3 Phase) In-depth Training in the Foundations of Trauma Informed Recovery delivered from an Integrated Professional and Christian Perspective. For Counsellors, Pastoral Teams, Social Workers, Teachers/LSA's, Mentors, Parents and Mental Health Professionals at all levels.

This course offers a uniquely integrated approach to understanding trauma recovery by blending:
• Judith Herman’s three-phase model of trauma recovery
• Transformational Christian insights on healing and wholeness
• Bruce Perry’s neurosequential model of 'bottom-up' healing
• Modern psychotherapeutic approaches and neuroscientific theories - including The Triune Brain, Window of Tolerance, PolyVagel Theory, Dissociation, AIP & EMDR, IFS & Parts, Somatic Integration and Creative Approaches
Training Team

Ric Wilton is a Trauma and EMDR Therapist experienced in working with Adults and Young People. He is Accredited with BACP and qualified to Masters level in Counselling & Psychotherapy.

Claire Elliott is a Consultant Psychiatrist with experience in all areas of psychiatric practice. She currently works with young people in CAMHS. Claire is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Standard Rate: £245 if paid after 22nd Feb

Please Read - This course provides foundational trauma-informed understanding and grounding skills. It does not train participants to conduct trauma memory processing or deliver specialist trauma therapy. Attendees are expected to practise ethically, remain within the limits of their professional competence, and obtain appropriate specialist training and supervision before engaging in complex trauma recovery.
