A Two Day (3 Phase) training in the Foundations of Trauma Informed Healing delivered from an Integrated Professional and Christian Perspective. For Counsellors, Pastoral Teams, Social Workers, Teachers/LSA's, Mentors, Parents and Mental Health Professionals at all levels.
This course offers a uniquely integrated approach to understanding trauma recovery by uniting:
• Judith Herman’s three-phase model of trauma recovery.
• The process of 'Returning Home' that we discover in the Prodigal Son Story.
• Bruce Perry’s Neuro-sequential model of 'bottom-up' healing.
• Modern psychotherapeutic approaches and neuroscientific theories - including The Triune Brain, Window of Tolerance, PolyVagel Theory, IPNB, Attachment, Dissociation, AIP/EMDR, IFS/Parts, Somatic Integration and Creative Approaches.

CPD Trainer

Ric Wilton is a Trauma & EMDR therapist and clinical supervisor experienced in working with both adults and young people. He is accredited by the BACP and holds a Master’s-level qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Ric will be joined by a team of qualified mental health practitioners who will support the delivery of the training, as well as facilitate group work and experiential elements of the course.

Please Read - This course provides foundational trauma-informed understanding and grounding skills. It does not train participants to conduct specialist trauma memory processing or deliver specialist trauma therapy. Attendees are expected to practise ethically, remain within the limits of their professional competence, and obtain appropriate specialist training and supervision before engaging in complex trauma recovery support.
